Road Construction - Aug 27 -31

Contractors may be working on the following arterial and collector streets from August 27^th to 31^st under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation. Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas:

Bonaventure Avenue (Military Rd. to Merrymeeting Rd.)

Duckworth Street (at King's Road intersection)

Long's Hill

Mundy Pond Road (St. Theresa's Church to Blackler Ave.)

Pennywell Road (Cashin Ave. to Ropewalk Ln.)

Queen's Road (Duckworth St. to Bates Hill)

Torbay Road (Stavanger Dr. to Rona)

Commuters may also experience traffic delays and should be wary of milled asphalt areas due to grind and patch operations on the following streets:

Adams Avenue

Blackmarsh Road

Bonaventure Avenue

Columbus Drive

Cornwall Avenue

Hamilton Avenue

Lemarchant Road

Patrick Street

Shaw Street

Symonds Avenue

Waterford Bridge Road

Other local/residential streets may have ongoing construction and affected homeowners and businesses have been notified separately.
