Some of the categories of advisories include water, garbage, recreation, traffic and building closures. The view below lists advisories that are upcoming or currently on-going.

Due to forecasted weather conditions, waste collection for Area 2A/2B including recycling for 2B is postponed and will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020. Garbage collection for Area 3A/3B including recycling for 3B will also take place as scheduled on Wednesday Dec. 23, 2020....
Due to forecasted weather conditions, waste collection for Area 3 including recycling for 3A is postponed and will take place on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020.
Garbage collection for Area 4 including recycling for 4A will also take place as scheduled on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020.
...Due to extreme wind, the Residential Drop Off (RDO) at the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility is closed for the remainder of today Tuesday, November 24, 2020.
The RDO will reopen as regularly scheduled at 8 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
...Due to forecasted weather conditions, waste collection for Area 2 including recycling for 2B is postponed and will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020.
Garbage collection for Area 3 including recycling for 3B will also take place as scheduled on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020.
...There is a high volume of traffic at the Residential Drop Off (RDO) at Robin Hood Bay today Tuesday, May 19.
...There will be a delayed opening at Robin Hood Bay Landfill this morning due to a fire, that has now been contained. The landfill will be closed to commercial haulers, with a further announcement at 11a.m. Garbage collection within the City of St. John's will not be affected by this delay.
...Due to forecasted weather conditions garbage collection for Area 3 is postponed by one day and will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2020.
Garbage collection for Area 4 will also take place as scheduled on Thursday, March 26, 2020.
...Due to forecasted weather conditions, waste collection for Area 3 including recycling for 3B is postponed and will take place on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020.

...Due to forecasted weather conditions, the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility will be closed Saturday, January 18, 2020 to both residential and commercial users. The site will reopen to commercial users on Monday, January 20, 2020 and residential users on Tuesday, January 21, 2020....

The error that caused incorrect waste collection schedules and reminders has now been fixed. If you have downloaded the app or are signed up for reminders or alerts, the schedules and new messages you receive are correct.
